Café Moe was named after Fr. Norbert Mollering who was a president of Chaminade but was also the director of development in the 70s. Café Moe was opened and dedicated in December of 1980.

Here are some of the teachers and faculty go-tos at Café Moe:

Dr. Guidry’s go-to is the soup: “It’s always good and healthy. I’ll never pass up the chicken parm though.”

Dr. Schmitt said his favorite was a good old salad from a salad bar.

Mr. Burge’s go-to is curly fries. Mr. Vivano’s is the cheeseburger and fries.

Mr. Twellman’s is one of the soups/chili options. His favorite is the chipotle chicken bowls when they have those.

Mr. Shavers’ go-to is the fries, especially when there are also chicken strips to go with them.  But his current favorite Café Moe meal is mac n’ cheese with a piece of grilled chicken.

Mr. Sartori’s go-to meal would be the chicken tenders.

Mrs. Dunlap’s go-to is a warm cookie for dessert.

Mr. Keithley’s favorite thing is the egg salad sandwich. “It’s delicious,” he said.

Mr. Wilson’s is a bowl of pasta with both red and white sauce.

Mr. Chrismer’s go-to is the fajitas.

Mr. Winebright’s favorite meal is a burger or a warm cookie.
