What if Chaminade teachers took the spots of some beloved Christmas movie characters? Which teachers are the best fits? Which ones did we get wrong?
Buddy the Elf (Elf)- Mr. Stout
When you think of Buddy the Elf and Chaminade teachers, you have to think of Mr. Stout. He makes it his mission every year to celebrate Christmas in new ways. From getting his tree on Black Friday to playing Christmas music during class, Buddy the Stout loves Christmas.
Ebenezer Scrooge (A Christmas Carol)- Dr. Dan Karcher
Warm and fuzzy. The two best words to describe Dr. Dan Karcher. On the exterior, he may seem intimidating and very matter-of-fact, but as you get to know him more, he is actually quite kind. Similar to Scrooge, making it an easy comparison.

Kevin (Home Alone)- Mr. Gilfoil
Creative and an inventor, an exact comparison between Mr. Gilfoil and Kevin McCallister. Mr. Gilfoil is capable of building traps and defending his house just as well, if not better than Kevin. Mr. Gilcallister would most definitely be able to survive Home Alone.

Marv & Harry (Home Alone) – Mr. Chiburis and Coach Mo
Mr. Chris Chiburis & Coach Joseph Morgan, known to most as Chibs and Mo, are one of the most dynamic teacher duos Chaminade has ever seen, with their comedic personalities making them stand out. Together, with Coach Mo as a Mentor and Mr. Chiburis as a Dean, they ran Mentor Group MS17, making it arguably one of the best mentor groups in the entire school.
Cindy Lou Who (How the Grinch Stole Christmas) – Mrs. Young
Mrs. Jessica Young, a high school engineering teacher, is known for her sweet and kind-hearted personality. She has faith in all of her students and is always willing to give a helping hand to a struggling student. Mrs. Young is always very polite and goes out of her way to bring treats to her classes on special occasions.
Jon McClane (Die Hard)- Mr. Massa
Stone Cold Killer. Period.

Santa Claus – Dr. Guidry
Dr. Guidry, Chaminade’s president, felt like the most fitting choice for Santa Claus, overseeing the school’s operations, like Santa Claus does in the North Pole. Dr. Guidry talks about the importance of family and brotherhood and Chaminade, spreading kindness and generosity throughout our school. Dr. Guidry always has a smile on his face and a calm personality to go along with it.
