G-R-A-Y House 8th Grade Captain Caden Fernandez Wins MS Spelling Bee

The annual Middle School Spelling Bee ended in dramatic fashion when Gray House 8th grade captain Caden Fernandez successfully spelled the word bitumen: (n) a black viscous mixture of hydrocarbons obtained naturally or as a residue from petroleum distillation. It is used for road surfacing and roofing.

This was Caden’s third appearance in the spelling bee and his first win.  Congratulations to Caden on his victory, and thank you to our other finalists: Will Jenkins, Ben Fischer and Alex Pantazopoulos.  Check out the link below to watch it all unfold!
